Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary School, Old Press Road, Near Sher-E-Punjab Market PATIALA is one of best school in Patiala. The school came into existence in 1985. This is a co-educational Sr. Secondary school. The school has got affiliation with Punjab School Education Board of Mohali in 1990.

The school started with a handful of students in a very small building but in due course of time, it has developed into a vibrant and growing institution with the capacity of 1500 students. At present the school has a fascinating building and sprawling campus with fully furnished, well lighted and ventilated classrooms, Well equipped Science Lab, Computer Lab, Music Room, A Toy Room, Art Room, 5 Smart Class Rooms, well stocked Library with about 2000 books on its shelves to meet the requirements of the staff and students and provide excellent reading facility to them. We also subscribe to important magazines and newspapers. Kindergarten wing having all the facilities to put the students in comfort zone is also available.

The school has brought name and fame by participating in activities like declamation, debate, Gurmat competitions, Poetry recitation, Quiz and Art competitions. Divinity and Moral science are taught to students to inculcate the spirit of moral & ethical values. Students participate in various competitions like Shabad Gayan, Gurbani Kanth, Gurbani Recitation and religious examinations conducted by different organizations. Inter house co-curricular activities are also conducted to give exposure to the students and enable the teachers to hunt the hidden talent amongst the students. Modern and stress free techniques are followed while imparting education to students.
